Vanessa Coletrain

Hi!  Vanessa here. I’m fairly new to AZ, but fell in love with it instantly.  My guy Ryan and I moved here after growing up in flat, boring Illinois. We both owned businesses back home, but realized we were working our lives away and wanted a better work/life balance. So we sold almost everything and headed west for a new adventure.

I’ve been doing hair for 20 years, and somehow it’s been part of my life for 40. I never planned on becoming a hairstylist, but my mom—a retired hairdresser, salon owner, and beauty school instructor—convinced me it would be a good fit. Turns out, she was right.

I love a challenge behind the chair, and my toxic trait is thinking I can do it all. 😂 Whether you want something subtle or bold and edgy, I’m always up for doing the research and figuring it out together.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find Ryan and me traveling, checking out a new brewery, or finding a restaurant with a great happy hour.
